On March 21, 2023 with the festive event we celebrated the amazing achievement of KODE Project/Ministry of Economy, on broadband deployment in all unconnected areas, including here in the most remote villages of Kosova. The work done, always with the support of The World Bank, has led to increase the broadband penetration in Kosova to above 99.8%.
In this festive event named Kosova Connected, the high-level representatives of the Kosova Government and the World Bank have attended.
During the event, the Prime Minister of Kosova, Mr. Albin Kurti, the Minister of Economy Ms. Artane Rizvanolli, The World Bank Country Manager for Kosova Mr. Massimiliano Paolucci, and The World Bank Acting Director and Practice Manager for Digital Development Ms. Nicole Klingen by pressing the Kosova Connected branded button, marked this successful achievement of KODE Project.
The event also hosted the local government representatives, ARKEP and KPM representatives, prominent names of ICT sector, and village residents.
